We found a dozen of online reviews which are mostly positive. Users love how Andis 22235 pet hair clipper performs. It is relatively quiet, so the dog isn’t jumpy. The cut is even and the motor is strong.

The pet clippers breezily run through hair. This is for people who like to groom their dogs at home. You will never have to buy another clipper.

The Andis 22235 do get hot after about 20 minutes of constant use, just put the blade on something cool or buy the cool spray. Also for very matted dogs, be careful and only use the number 10 blade as it is less likely you will cut the dog’s skin with the number 10.

If you are looking for a short, smooth look, use the number 7 or 5 blade backwards against the growth of the dog fur from butt to head. If your blades get dull, you can find a sharpening guy in your area.

Few reviewers were not happy with their purchase though. These Andis pet clippers run a bit slow, and the blades get too hot to touch after five minutes into clipping dog’s paws, not to mention the plastic housing and on/off switch looks cheap compared to the other nice beefy metal clippers with the same price.

Based on its advertised features and pet grooming experience of most users, Andis 22235 performs well and users like its quiet and powerful motor. There are few users though who experienced the opposite which could be a case of manufacturing defect. With high average rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars in online reviews, we believe that this device is a good buy.
