It is important to keep the blades clean. The blade that comes with the unit works best but you can buy additional heads to help with desired hair length. The Andis pet grooming clipper balance is good and comfortable in the hand.

The long cord is quite handy. Andis 27370 is actually very quiet and the sound does not bother the dogs and very easy to use even for the beginners.
